Get a closeup look at this massive sculpture. Our next stop is the Bozeman Mt. Montana Grizzly Encounter. This rescue & education sanctuary provides spacious and natural home for rescued grizzlies.
After a tour of the Grand Coulee Dam we’ll enjoy a step-on guided tour of Seattle, which includes the famous Space Needle observation deck. We’ll make a stop in Pioneer Square which is home to many art galleries, coffee shops & subterranean streets. Enjoy lunch at Pike Place Market and then we’ll “soar” to new heights at the Museum of Flight. Then it’s on to the Chihuly Garden & Glass exhibit.
On our way to Portland we’ll stop at the Mt. St. Helen National Volcanic Monument and view this still active volcano. In Portland, “the city of the roses”, we will also visit the International Rose Test Garden.
The garden features over 10,000 rose bushes representing more than 650 rose varieties. Then board the Portland Spirit, a 150 foot yacht, for lunch & sightseeing.
All aboard the Amtrak Cascades as we head to Studio West where instructors will help you create your one of a kind piece of glass. Next a visit to the Cascades Raptor Center, home to 50 individual birds from 30 native species, specializing in raptor rehabilitation. After a stop at the Idaho State Historical
Museum, where you will experience Idaho’s rich history, we’ll make our way to the Idaho Botanical Gardens.
Enjoy the beautiful Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, then sit back and relax as we enjoy a rehearsal by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Then on to historic downtown for dinner and relaxation.
On our way home, we will stop at the Golden Spike Tower and Visitors Center in North Platte. From the observation deck, you will experience the sights and sounds of the world’s largest rail yard!”
