Two Glorious Days!
Kansas – Day One
We’ll head to Manhattan, Kansas, The Little Apple, for a cooking demonstration, lunch, and a tour of The McCall Pattern Company, a world-wide company founded in 1870.
See first-hand the 118-year-old Animal Sciences and Industry Department at Kansas State University, which provides education, service, and leadership as they teach how to provide a safe, responsible, and sustainable food supply.
Program services include beef cattle research, dairy teaching and research, an equine unit, poultry center, sheep and meat goat center, and swine teaching and research.
No tour to the department would be complete without a visit to Call Hall for a sample of their home made ice cream!
