Garden of the Gods – Created millions of years ago, this breathtaking landscape features ancient sedimentary beds of deep red, pink & white sandstone, conglomerates & limestone.

Air Force Academy – First stop, the Barry Goldwater Visitor Center. Learn about the academy & the cadet experience. Then Cadet Chapel, an example of modern architecture, completed in 1962 is the most distinguishing feature in the academy.

Pikes Peak Cog Railroad – Travel on the world’s highest cog train, ascending Pikes Peak, climbing to 14,115 feet & experience the magnificent panoramas that inspired the song “America the Beautiful”.

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park – One of the highest & most famous suspension bridges in the world it is located 956 feet above the Arkansas River.

Royal Gorge Route Railway – Climb aboard Colorado’s most scenic train for a journey through the spectacular Royal Gorge. Since 1879 these tracks have followed the winding, tumbling Arkansas River deep within the soaring 1000 foot granite cliffs of Colorado’s Royal Gorge.

Cumbres & Toltec Railroad – America’s most authentic steamoperated railroad, a proud remnant of the spirit that won the West.

Gallup Cultural Center – In the historic Santa Fe Depot, it contains an art gallery spotlighting the best artists in the area. Walk through the Storyteller Museum to learn about the history of the cultures in the area.

Painted Desert/Petrified Forest – More than 13,000 years of human history & culture represented. From prehistoric peoples to the Civilian Conservation Corps, form early explorers to Route 66 motorists, the park has many stories to tell.

Verde Canyon Railroad – Opened in 1912, this 38 mile branch of the Santa Fe Railway, follows the Verde River and travels through a 680-foot tunnel, as well as the Prescott & Coconino National Forests.

Mesa Verde National Park – Spanish for “green table” this park offers a spectacular look into the lives of  the ancestral Pueblo people with over 5,000 know archeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings.

Sedona guided tour –  Nestled among a geological wonderland. Multi-hued stone formations jut upwards from the desert floor creating a vivid, mesmerizing setting that changes with the light.

Arches National Park–  This Red Rock wonder will amaze you. Located on the Colorado River, the park has over 2,000 stone arches.

Georgetown Loop Railroad –  Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, you will feel like you have stepped back in to another time where the railroad ruled, mining was a way of life & outlaws littered the land.

Colorado Railroad Museum –  Set on 15 acres that contain over 100 narrow & standard gauge steam and diesel locomotives, passenger cars & cabooses on display.
